The Reluctant Panther is a beautiful small hotel with wonderful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival to a beautiful room with a gas burning fireplace. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The location was perfect in the center of the historic section of Manchester, VT which was nice for walking after breakfast and close to area restaurants. Also, we loved our picnic basket breakfast that we had in the dining room. Our meals were delicious and we'd like to try having dinner there when we visit another time.

This is the most beautiful, comfortable hotel. Breakfast basket were amazing as was everything else. This was our second stay here and I can totally see us staying here many more times. Highly recommend.

Beautiful grounds and nicely furnished large rooms. Our room had a fireplace. There was a dining room for breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast can also be served in your room. Very comfortable bed.

The room was bigger than we expected. We had everything we needed including a Keruig coffee maker, wine glasses, luxury robes and towels. We loved the breakfast basket delivered to our door in the morning with more food than we could eat. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating.

We very much enjoyed our stay at TRP. The hotel staff is kind and attentive, our room was very spacious and super comfortable. The surroundings are quiet and relaxing. The garden and patio offer beautiful vistas of the hilly backdrop. I put only 8/10 stars here because we were a bit disappointed by the food options. The breakfast-in-a-basket idea is neat and fun, but whats inside needs to be ramped up in terms of quality and originality to be on par with standing expectations. We also thought the food and ambiance of the restaurant could be much better, to match or surpass the excellence of other options around, again, for this level of standing. Will we go back? Certainly yes!
